ReelSelector is a new independent saltwater fishing publication founded by Patrick, based in North Carolina. Our focus is premium spinning and conventional reels, alongside older PENNs that still attract anglers and collectors.
Your fishing comes first.
A surf angler, an offshore troller and someone buying a classic Senator need different answers. Our finder starts with your fishing style, target species, budget and new-versus-used preference. Our comparisons explain the strengths and compromises of specific reference models.
Research you can inspect.
We link manufacturer information and specialist references, show when price snapshots were checked, and leave unverified specifications identified. We do not claim hands-on testing of reels we have not tested. Family-level photographs are labeled when the configuration differs.
How this publication earns.
We earn commissions on qualifying purchases through eBay Partner Network links. Retailers and marketplace sellers handle purchases, shipping, service and returns. ReelSelector does not hold used inventory or inspect individual sellers’ reels.

ReelSelector is a new publication. Some family profiles need further specification research, and image permissions are under review. Social accounts and a newsletter are not yet connected.
